A Little Bit About Me
Salaam Alaykum,
I’ve created this profile on behalf of my uncle (my mum’s brother) to help him find a sincere and compatible life partner.
He is 65 years old, born and raised in East Africa (Tanzania), and has been living in the UK since 1978. He currently resides in Slough, Berkshire. Professionally, he worked as an automotive transmission specialist and is now enjoying his well-earned retirement.
Our family roots trace back to India (Lahore and Gujarat), with his parents having migrated to East Africa before independence.
He is fluent in English, Punjabi, Urdu, and Swahili.
My uncle is a practising Sunni Muslim. His interests include cooking (he’s especially good at trying out different cuisines), BBQs, gardening, building and DIY, travelling, exploring cultures, watching documentaries, reading Islamic literature, and of course, spending time in prayer.
After the loss of his beloved wife in 2023, life changed significantly for him. As a family, we’ve supported and encouraged him to consider companionship again—someone to share life’s journey with and bring mutual happiness and peace.
He has five adult children—three daughters and two sons—all married and settled in their own lives.
It’s hard to summarise him in a few words, but if I had to: he’s a warm-hearted, kind, and affectionate man, with a lot of love and joy to offer the right person. Family means the world to him, and he values good conversation, mutual respect, and genuine connection.
For now, I’ll be handling the initial messages on his behalf. Once there is mutual interest and compatibility, I’ll gladly share his contact details so the two can continue the conversation directly.
